Weight Loss Result – Week 1

Well I am delighted to say that my investment – especially in organisation paid off and I exceeded my goal of 2lb weight loss and lost 3.3/4 pounds! (I will not be publishing my weight here as I have no intention of making myself uncomfortable). I have eaten well, enjoyed my food and yes sometimes felt extra hungry and desperate for a quick sugary fix – but the apple won!

I have had fun with food. The chickpea, coriander and lime salad was a cause of interest to my friends and got shared round. I am struck by how our own behaviours and eating habits can affect others. None of us live in isolation so by looking after ourselves, we can model that to others to and help them purely by helping ourselves.

Is that motivating for anyone else?
